The Woody Valley Exenseair is an uncomplicated and smart harness specifically designed for novice pilots – a simple, cleanly-designed, safe product. It is quick and easy to adjust, making it ideal for use on training slopes. Its seating comfort is unsurpassed.
Due to the high demand for a weight-optimised harness, Woody Valley has now developed the exenseair with an airbag.
The Exense Air was derived from the exense, which was completely redesigned in 2007 for the beginner sector. The most striking change is the all new “one-click buckle” that have never been seen on the market. Easy to handle and easy to operate even with thick gloves, they not only convince in terms of their lower weight, but also offer a high safety aspect. Pilots can now see at a glance that the buckles are closed. with none of the annoying closing or setting of different straps, which often confuse beginners, is eliminated. Much easier to use.
The Exense Air like all Woody Valley harnesses, has a tapered 4-folded corners Rescue System container positioned under the seat board. The handle is mounted on the right and easy for the pilot to reach.
Striking is also the abrasion-resistant protective film on the underside of the harness. Thus, the harness on the bottom can be easily and cleaned. The attached signal whistle on the chest strap can also be mentioned as a small and useful detail.
The Airbag is made under license from Cygnus. It was incorporated into this harness to meet the demands of pilots who prefer efficient airbag protection, avoiding the necessity of bulky foam protection, and extending protection right up to the upper part of the back. The reserve parachute is located beneath the seat.
In contrast to the exense, instead of the 17 cm back foam protector, it has a back pressure airbag with a side air intake. This new generation of airbag protectors combines Woody Valley’s many years of experience with back pressure airbag protectors and a full year of work on the crash test machine. They meet both the requirements of the DHV and the European standard. It is an innovative, self-filling multi-chamber system that protects both the upper back and early in the take offs.
Thanks to the radio pocket integrated on the shoulder strap, this harness can also be used very well for schooling. The Exense Air is only available with the T-Lock leg strap system.
The design and the good workmanship captivate and the side pockets made of high-strength, the transparent net allows the pilot to have his belongings always at hand even in flight.
