Paragliding Wilderness

Situated at the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains between the Kaaimans River and the Goukamma Nature Reserve, Wilderness is a quaint seaside village known for its superb long beaches and warm blue water where dolphins are often seen frolicking in the waves.  Wilderness also has many rivers, natural lakes and lagoons that add to the tranquillity and charm. Many water birds breed here and wildlife abound with even temperatures all year round.

Wilderness is an ideal spot for adventure activities, mountain biking, whale and dolphin watching, forest tours with various hikes and walks. There is also a large selection of restaurants and nightlife for those who still have the energy to go out after an action-packed day. There are also plenty of good craft and food markets to stock up on supplies.

We believe that training in a safe environment (Wilderness, Kleinkrantz and Sedgeview) with a slow progression – from ground handling, dune hopping or ground skimming to doing flights from higher take off sites – is the best way to learn and improve your  confidence and skill as a pilot. After your basic licence course we then introduce you to other Cape Town sites, like Lion’s Head, Porterville, Picketberg, Hermanus etc.
